AERA prepares annual reports on Agency’s operations and financial condition and publishes them on its official website.

The "Annual report on the activities of the Agency" is prepared by AERA in accordance with the strategic goals set in the annual work plan for that calendar year and submitted to the Board of the Agency within the first 10 (ten) working days of the following year, then it is submited to the Ministry of Energy and published on the official website of the organization.

The "Annual Financial Report on the Agency's activities" is prepared and sent to the Board of the Agency by April 30 of the following year, then submitted to the Ministry of Energy together with the external auditor's opinion and published on the agency's official website.

The agency engages an external auditor to ensure transparency and accountability, as well as to independently verify the reliability and legality of its activities. The external auditor's report is submitted to the Ministry of Energy and published on the official AERA website.

In addition, the Agency annually reports to the Ministry of Energy and relevant agencies:

• Report for the annual report of the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) on the state of ensuring and protection of human rights and freedoms in the country;
• Report on the implementation of decrees and orders of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
• "Report on the Agency's implementation of the National Action Plan on strengthening the fight against corruption for 2022─2026 ";
• AERA Public Procurement Report;
• Presents various reports on the implementation of the instructions of the leadership of the Ministry of Energy.
