Who are the residential consumers of electricity?

A residential electricity consumer is an individual who uses electricity for domestic purposes in apartments, dormitories, private houses, as well as in gardens and private garages.

As of December 1, 2024, the number of residential electricity consumers in the country (excluding Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic) is 2,799,971. 


Who are the residential consumers of natural gas?

A residential natural gas consumer is an individual who uses gas for domestic needs in residential buildings and apartments, as well as in residential premises within the special housing stock as specified in Article 91 of the Housing Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

As of December 1, 2024, the number of residential gas consumers (excluding Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic) registered with ‘Azerigas’ PU in the country is 2,608,864.

A residential consumer of thermal energy is an individual who uses thermal energy for domestic purposes in apartments, dormitories, private houses, as well as in gardens and private garages.

‘Azeristiliktachizat’ OJSC serves 3,871 buildings in Azerbaijan (excluding Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic).
