A new report titled “E-Mobility: Status Update, Development Plans & Related Regulatory Issues,” co-authored by Mirmahammadali Aslanov, Head of the Energy Efficiency and Investments Division at the Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA), has been published by the Energy Regulators Regional Association (ERRA).

Prepared by the ERRA Energy Transition Committee based on contributions from 25 member organizations, the report delivers a comprehensive overview of the evolving e-mobility landscape.

The document, which includes key findings from the 2025 ERRA E-Mobility Survey, highlights legal and regulatory frameworks regarding electromobility, current and future electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure plans, the impacts of electromobility on the electricity system, regulatory authority perspectives, and strategic recommendations in this field.

The report also highlights the rapid expansion of electromobility against the backdrop of climate commitments, technological advancements, and shifts in consumer behavior.
