On April 9, Mr. Samir Akhundov, Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA), received a World Bank energy team led by Ms. Stephanie Gil, WB Practice Manager.

During the meeting, the parties held consultations on the World Bank’s proposed technical assistance and discussed the activities of the Energy Efficiency Fund (EEF).

It should be noted that AERA collaborates with the World Bank as part of the “Azerbaijan Scaling-Up Renewable Energy Project (AZURE)”.
