A delegation of the Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA), led by Chairman of AERA’s Management Board Samir Akhundov, met with experts from Austria’s energy regulatory body, E-Control, in Vienna.

During the meeting, Austrian experts made presentations on their country’s experience in transformation into competitive liberal energy markets, energy efficiency, implementing smart grids, integration of renewables in Austria, and developing energy charging stations along with related regulatory activities.

The meeting also included a discussion and comprehensive exchange of views on the mentioned topics.
