Employees of the Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA) participated in the regional conference on "Creating a Regional Energy Market in the EU’s Eastern Neighbourhood" within the II phase of the "EU4Energy" program in Vienna, the capital of Austria.

Discussions at the conference were held on the issues such as the increase in energy prices, challenges and opportunities of regional market approaches against the background of renewable energy integration goals, strong cross-border cooperation to solve problems of a regional and pan-European nature as a result of the development of the electricity system, as well as the diversification of energy sources.

It should be noted that the mentioned conference was organized by the Council of European Energy Regulators (CEER).
