A meeting was held between the representatives of the Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA) and Azerbaijan University of Metrology (AzMI), which is subordinate to the State service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the Ministry of Economy of Republic of Azerbaijan.

At the meeting, opinions were exchanged in the direction of protecting consumer rights and increasing the efficiency of services in this field. At the same time, the issues of monitoring the process of state inspection of gas meters implemented by AERA were discussed.

It should be noted that according to the contract signed between AzMI and "Azerigas" Production Union, from January 1, 2024, the management of the "Meter inspection laboratory" will be carried out by AzMI.
