The meeting was held between representatives of the Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB). The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Board of AERA Samir Akhundov, Chief Energy Specialist of ADB, Adnan Tarin, as well as other representatives of both organizations.

During the meeting, Samir Akhundov emphasized the importance of the reforms implemented in the field of energy regulation in Azerbaijan and the adopted legal-normative acts, and gave detailed information to the participants about the measures implemented in the main directions of activity of AERA.

The meeting ended with the discussion of the abovementioned issues, as well as the possibilities of expanding cooperation relations with ADB.
