AERA hosts meeting with World Bank delegation

On September 30, the Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA) hosted a meeting with a visiting World Bank delegation, led by Robert van der Geest, Senior Gas Specialist.

The meeting discussed cooperation and projects between AERA and the World Bank, as well as issues of mutual interest.

The parties also reviewed the long-term financial and technical sustainability of the gas distribution system through institutional and regulatory reforms.

Cooperation prospects were also explored at the meeting.
