Employees of the Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA) conducted a training session titled “Citizen Services, Effective Communication, and Professional Conduct” for staff serving the public at the Baku Small and Medium Business House (Baku SMB House), operating under the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The primary goal of the training was to enhance the effective communication and explanation skills of the staff serving citizens at the Baku SMB House.

During the session, the core principles of citizen-oriented service, professional conduct, and the importance of effective communication were highlighted. Key aspects regarding receiving, listening to, and referring citizen requests were emphasized as well.

The training concluded with a Q&A session addressing questions from participants.

AERA provides services to consumers at the Baku SMB House across two key areas: issuing commissioning permits for electrical installations with a capacity exceeding 200 kilowatts, and issuing permits for the operation of industrial gas installations.
