AERA Board chairman meets with World Bank delegation

On December 10, the Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA), Samir Akhundov, met with a World Bank delegation led by Roger Coma Cunill, Senior Energy Specialist and task team leader. 

During the meeting, discussions were held around the “Azerbaijan Scaling-Up Renewable Energy Project” (AZURE), as well as issues related to improving electricity tariffs.

The parties also reviewed the progress of the electricity sector reforms.
