Samir Akhundov, Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA), participated in a meeting of chairmen, presidents, and commissioners from member organizations of the Energy Regulators Regional Association (ERRA) on October 28 in Tirana, Albania.

During the meeting, presentations addressed grid scarcity in the context of renewable energy integration, regulatory actions and tools, grid congestion prevention, cybersecurity for energy infrastructure, and the protection of critical infrastructure in the energy sector. Case studies from Italy, Poland, the United States, France, and Austria were also reviewed.

Additionally, question-and-answer sessions were held around the discussed topics.
