Experts of the Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA) and the Energy Market Regulatory Authority of Türkiye (EMRA) convened for another meeting as part of the 2024 Inter-Forum Action Plan of the 3rd Azerbaijan-Turkey Energy Forum’s “Regulation” Working Group.

Employees from the Ministry of Economy and Azerenerji OJSC also joined the discussions.

During the meeting, EMRA’s energy specialist, Ismail Bahtiyar, delivered a presentation titled “Practical Steps to Expand the Utilization of Energy Storage Systems and Building the Necessary Infrastructure” and provided detailed information about the types and advantages of existing energy storage systems in Türkiye, as well as the rules and licensing procedures for electricity storage.
