The Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA) is enhancing its cooperation with foreign energy regulatory bodies. Recently, a meeting took place between AERA and representatives from Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Energy and the Energy Market Development and Regulation Agency.

The meeting was joined by Agha Hajizade, Head of AERA’s International Relations Department, Maksud Makhbubov, Head of the International Relations Department at Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Energy, and Jamola Khusanjanova, Head of the International Relations Department at the Energy Market Development and Regulation Agency.

During the meeting, the participants shared information about the activities of the energy regulatory agencies of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, and discussed initial steps toward establishing cooperative relations.
