The Ministry of Energy and AERA representatives met with students of ATU

As a part of networking meetings to raise awareness about energy sector among students, the Ministry of Energy and Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA) held an online meeting with students of the Faculty of Energy, Electrical Engineering and Automation of Azerbaijan Technical University (ATU). The meeting was also attended by members of the Student Trade Union Committee (STUC) of the ATU, members of the Student Youth Organization (SYO), representatives of the career center and the teaching staff of the university.

Jahid Mikailov and Gunel Ahmadova, Heads of Public Relations of the Ministry of Energy and AERA, who participated in the online meeting, gave a general information about the Ministry and AERA, as well as the work done on the development and regulation of energy sector in Azerbaijan.

Khayala Gurbanova, Head of the Civil Service and HR Department of the Ministry of Energy, highlighted important factors in forming a clearer idea of the future work of students, and provided detailed information on career planning and job search.

Emphasizing the need for continuing support of students in their studies, the speakers informed them about various formats of electronic information, annual reports, sections that will increase their knowledge and awareness in the relevant field, available on the internet resources of the Ministry of Energy and AERA.

The speakers stressed out the importance of using the social media pages of the Ministry and the Agency, where students can get regularly updated news.
