From the 25 to 26 September 2019, in the framework of the 18th annual Investments and Energy Regulation Conference, the ERRA Licensing/Competition and Tariff/Pricing Committees' next meetings are held in Riga, Latvia.

The Conference started with the ERRA Tariff/Pricing Committee meeting.

The Chairman at the ERRA Tariff/Pricing Committee greeted the guests from the North Macedonia Energy and Water Services Commission representatives, new committee members and other participants. 

In the frame of the conference, new information about the investigation on regulator attitudes of the ERRA member regulators` TSOs and revenue over the Free Sales Days is shared. During the meeting, information on the tariff database is also provided. Then, at the roundtable, the Committee members discussed tariff and pricing novelties. The elected Committee members including the Head of Tariff Sector of the Economic Analysis, Tariff and Statistics Unit at the Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA) Mr. Rashad Gasimov gave speeches on the tariff and pricing developments.        

At the meeting of the Licensing/Competition Committee, the AERA is represented by the Head of the Legal Support and Analysis Unit Mr. Fariz Shirinov. The participants from Hungary, Turkey, Kosovo, US, Estonia, Ireland and other countries made interesting presentations.
