Employees of the Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA) joined a tree-planting campaign initiated by the Ministry of Energy, with support from the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and the “Masdar” company of the United Arab Emirates.

Over 600 diverse tree saplings were planted across a one-hectare area in Mushfigabad settlement. The event, which promotes environmental sustainability and expansion of green zones, aims to contribute to environmental protection, environmental security, and combatting climate change by raising public awareness and engagement.

Representatives of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, Office of the Ministry of Energy, the Azerbaijan Renewable Energy Agency under the Ministry, and employees from the Azerbaijan office of “Masdar” also participated in the initiative.
