On January 25, officials of the Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA) had an online meeting with the representatives of Ukraine’s National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission (NEURC)

The Chairman of the Board of Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency, Samir Akhundov received the delegation led by Roger Coma Cunill, the World Bank's senior energy specialist.

A commemorative event dedicated to the memory of the architect and founder of the independent state of Azerbaijan, genius person Heydar Aliyev was held at the Ministry of Energy.

On December 1, Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov received citizens at Heydar Aliyev Center of Sabirabad district.

On November 29-30, the next seminar was organized for the specialists of the Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency with the participation of the experts of the Council of European Energy Regulators.

The reception of citizens by Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov, which was planned to be held in Sabirabad on 30 November, was rescheduled.

The Ministry of Energy held an event dedicated to 8 November - Victory Day, which is a symbol of the restoration of Azerbaijan's national pride along with its territorial integrity.

Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov will receive citizens from Sabirabad, Shirvan, Hajigabul, Saatli and Imishli regions on 24 November.

An information session on the rules of ADA University admission to master's programs for the 2024-2025 academic year was held at the Ministry of Energy.

A meeting was held between the representatives of the Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency and Azerbaijan University of Metrology, which is subordinate to the State service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the Ministry of Economy of Republic of Azerbaijan.

On October 27, Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov received citizens in Horadiz city of Fuzuli district.

Within the opening ceremony of the "Garadagh" Solar Power Station, with the participation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, three investment agreements on "green energy" projects with a total capacity of 1000 MW were signed between the Government of Azerbaijan and the UAE company "Masdar".

An official inauguration of the 230 MW Garadagh Solar Power Plant was held.

Staff of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Azerenergy OJSC and Azerishig OJSC went to the Alley of Honor on 20 October, on the occasion of Power Engineers` Day, visited the grave of national leader Heydar Aliyev and laid a wreath at his monument.

A seminar was organized for specialists of AERA with the participation of experts from the CEER within the "EU4Energy" Programme Phase II - "Encouraging the clean energy transition in Eastern Partnership countries".

Within the 2-nd phase of the "EU4Energy" program - "Encouraging the transition to clean energy in Eastern Partnership countries" AERA representatives participated in the "International relations and project management" regional training  held in Brussels by the Council of European Energy Regulators.

The Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA) and SOCAR's Technical Operations Department organized a meeting on "Determining the limit of annual electricity consumption for independent consumers".

On October 9-10, the 20th annual conference of the Energy Regulators Regional Association (ERRA) was held in Budapest. Samir Akhundov, the Chairman of the Board of Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency, as well as representatives of energy regulatory agencies and energy specialists of more than 30 countries participated in the conference.

A blood donation campaign was organized at the Ministry of Energy within the framework of the "For a Life without Thalassemia" program initiated by Mehriban Aliyeva, First Vice President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
