A meeting with students from ADA University was held at the Ministry of Energy, attended by representatives from the Ministry, as well as the Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA).

Organized to support the students’ academic pursuits, the meeting featured an in-depth discussion on their thesis projects regarding the “Integration of microgrids into the electric power system.” Addressing specific questions raised within the projects, participants exchanged views on the compatibility of Azerbaijan’s current energy grid with microgrid applications, the existing legislative framework, the economic environment’s impact on widespread adoption of microgrid technologies, and the technical possibilities for infrastructure integration.

AERA attaches importance to cooperation with higher education institutions in the country. In this regard, the “Energy Talks” project is being implemented in cooperation with various higher education institutions, including universities located in the regions.
