The Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency provides preferential loans to individuals and legal entities from the Energy Efficiency Fund through authorized credit organizations, with an annual interest rate of up to 5%, for the implementation of measures stipulated in the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Efficient Use of Energy Resources and Energy Efficiency”, dated July 9, 2021, No. 359-VIQ.

Areas financed through preferential loans:

• support for the implementation of energy efficiency measures and state programs;
• application of the energy management system;
• implementation of smart meters and systems;
• implementation of cogeneration and high-efficiency cogeneration plants;
• utilization of renewable energy sources.

Terms for preferential loans:
