The Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA), Samir Akhundov, spoke at the program organized by ADA University within a framework of the “16th Baku Summer Energy School” project. In his speech, Samir Akhundov emphasized the importance of the successfully implemented reforms in the energy sector of Azerbaijan and shared with the participants of the event the important points and world experience related to the current situation of electricity and utilities sector, the structure of the electricity market, the target model, as well as the regulatory issues of utility. S. Akhundov also informed about the activity of AERA in the field of energy regulation.
