The Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA), Samir Akhundov received the delegation headed by Richard Egobi, Senior Investment Manager of the OPEC (Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries) Fund for International Development.

At the meeting, attention was drawn to the reforms implemented in the energy sector of Azerbaijan, especially the measures implemented in the direction of strengthening the legislative framework. Also, information was provided on international cooperation relations in the field of energy regulation and existing energy projects.
