Within the framework of the Azerbaijan-Turkey II Energy Forum, there was held a meeting of the “Regulation’ Working Group consisting of the representatives of the Energy Regulatory Agency of Azerbaijan (AERA) and the Energy Market Regulatory Authority of Turkey (EMRA). During the meeting, the co-chairman of the Working Group, Hikmet Hasanov, the head of the Strategic Planning and Innovation Department of AERA, gave extensive information on the implementation of the measures and the benefits gained in the protocol of the I Azerbaijan-Turkey Energy Forum. Later, EMRA representatives shared Turkey's experience in the investigation of the application of energy storage systems, the obligations of transmission system operators, the network code, as well as the control and monitoring of wholesale markets with the participants of the meeting.

During the meeting there were also discussed the opportunities for the future cooperation.
