The Chairman of the Board of AERA met with the delegation of the World Bank

On January 10, the Chairman of the Board of Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA), Samir Akhundov received the delegation led by Roger Coma Cunill, the World Bank's senior energy specialist.

During the meeting, information was provided about the Agency's activities, the existing normative legal acts in the field of energy in Azerbaijan, as well as the tariff methodology.

Additionally, investment opportunities in the mentioned field, as well as investment opportunities for new projects related to renewable energy in the country, strengthening of the electric power network, and possible cooperation with the World Bank were discussed at the meeting.
