Trainıng on audit in power stations is held in Baku

On the 11th of June, 2019, a traınıng on audit in power stations jointly organised by the Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA) and DNV GL counsulting company is held in Baku. During the courses which consisted of several panels the trainer gave a brief overview of energy system by providing information on factors affecting energy system technologies and heating power stations` prices applicable for Azerbaijan. Then, the German expert Mr. Frank Schultz talked about the conception of audit by providing samples from different fields of audit performance, such as comparison analysis, cost optimization, energy effectiveness, environmental impact assessment, job healthcare and security, as well as operation procedures.   

While answering the questions of trainees during interactive sessions, Mr. Frank Schultzalso talked about pre-audit preparations. He explained the methodology of data analysis on energy sources by giving samples from the audit planning effectiveness. The trainer provided information on collecting data on energy rigs, energy assessment, saving facilities, energy effectiveness, as well as communication and behavior guidelines.  

He also talked about operation regimes and stages, instructions, fuel efficiency, technical rules, ecological aspects of stations` activities and its impact on the final price of the product.
